D. Scott Carmouche received his Juris Doctorate from the LSU Law School, a Bachelor of Civil Law, and minors in Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy, and Speech Communications. He concentrated his studies on Property Law and his fifteen years of practice have focused on property rights and transactional work. Scott started his career working with his father, George L. Carmouche, former Commissioner of Conservation, the highest Oil & Gas official in Louisiana. While working as the Managing Partner of his father’s firm they analyzed and reviewed more than 100,000 acres of land in Louisiana. Scott has presented property and title training to Lenders, Realtors, Landmen, and Attorneys. He carries on his desire to help the public from his earlier years as a Deputy Sheriff in California and Police Officer in Florida.
